The District Governor, Ro
tary International District 9140, Rotarian Noble Eshemetan has called on Nigerian Government to put in place modalities for the enforcement of the Child Rights Act.
Speaking in an interview with The Tide shortly after the commissioning of a library project donated by the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt G.R.A to the De Marrillac Home for Street Children in Port Harcourt, Rotarian Eshemetan warned the society against superstitious beliefs.

He said that he was impressed with the quality of projects being executed by clubs in the Port Harcourt zone, stressing that it was an indication that the people were feeling the impact of the Rotary Club.
Rotarian Eshemetan had commissioned two water projects, one at Egbeda in the Emohua Local Government Area executed by the Rotary club of Port Harcourt Central and another at Elelenwo in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
Other projects commissioned include a sick-bay at the rehabilitation centre, Iriebe, executed by the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt and a bill board on maternal health in Port Harcourt.
