Cleric Urges Women To Condemn Social Vices
Women have been
urged to rise to the challenge of strengthening society by speaking up against social vices as mothers of the nation.
The call was made by Regional Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Pastor Oluwafemi S. Oluwabiyi South- South region eleven at the opening of the women’s foundation seminar in Port Harcourt.
Oluwabiyi opined that as mothers they were in a position to raise their voices against the evils ravaging the society.
He charged them to condemn acts of kidnapping, robbery and other social vices noting that the perpetrator of those evil deeds were born by women.
The cleric also charged the women to always seek the face of God in all their undertaking adding that Godly wisdom is a veritable tool for society building.
Speaking during the seminar with the theme, “Resourceful Women,” wife of the regional overseer, Pastor Deborah Adenike Oluwabiyi, disclosed that the church organised empowerment schemes for the women including, tie and dye, baking as a means of making them self reliant in addition to keeping them healthy and happy.
She charged the women to be morally upright in their behavour and relationship with other members of society as a way of showing good example.
