Rivers ‘II Emerge Stronger -Dame Amaechi
Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Dame Judith Amaechi has expressed confidence in divine intervention in surmounting the teething challenges facing the state.
Mrs Amaechi, who said this last Wednesday night in Port Harcourt noted that the challenges facing the state were just a phase, and added that the state will emerge stronger.
She stated that Rivers people would continually commit themselves to divine intervention regardless of current travails, adding that the state would appear stronger again.
In her words: “The current travail in Rivers State has a lot of under current opportunities, it is for God’s glory, no man can share in God’s glory, no matter the situation, we would always thank the Lord in all situation”.
Governor Amaechi’s wife stated that though the situation may look tense, it provided opportunity for Rivers people to work with God and draw the state closer to him.
We can fold our arms and watch, we must rise and commit the peace and unity of our dear state to God. God is about to do a new thing in Rivers State and He will always have a pride of place in the affairs of the state.
She urged Rivers people to show love among themselves and learn to appreciate God in all seasons.
