A front-line traditional ruler in Egi clan, Eze Alex. O.Odeyi, has urged parents to make adequate preparation to encourage academic pursuit of their wards so as to prepare them for leadership role of tomorrow.
Eze Odwyi who is the Ochi-Oha the first of Erema Community in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, made the call while speaking as special guest of honour at the graduation/end of school year activities organised by the Adventist Nursery and Primary School Erema last weekend.

Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion, Comrade Fyne Aaron-Ezhi urged the management of the school to take extra steps to improve the welfare of both the teachers as to attract more people to join the academic staff.
Mr Aaron -Ezhi said, as pioneer private primary and nursery school in the area, they need to maintain the already achieved academic heights.
He pleaded with the teachers to show understanding, instill the necessary knowledge that would make the children compete favourably with their counterparts else where, by going beyond class works to teach them moral behaviours.
In his remarks, the Parents/Teachers Association (PTA), thanked the organisers of the events for improving from previous occasions.
He advised the teachers to do their best in the academic upbringing of the children, as parents will not fail to live upto expectations.
