FRSC Gets New Zonal Commander For Ogun, Lagos
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), last Thursday announced the appointment of Mr Kabiru Lawal as its new Zonal Commander for Lagos and Ogun.
Our correspondent reports that Lawal took over from Danjuma Aliyu Garba, who was recently promoted as Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of Training, Standards and Certification.
A statement signed by the Zonal Public Education Officer RS2 Lagos, Mr Adewunmi Ajibola, said that Lawal assumed duty in Lagos on March 5, 2012.
According to the statement, the new zonal commander promised to ensure improvement in the operational activities of the commission.
He warned against touting in the procurement of driver’s licence, number plates and general indiscipline, saying that such vices would not be condoned.
