Rivers Begins Capacity Building Workshop
In its avowed commitment to the training and retraining of the civil service workforce, the Office of the Head of Service (OHOS), in collaboration with Unite Consult Limited, is organizing a 2-day capacity building workshop for civil servants on grade level 8-12
The workshop, which holds tomorrow and Friday at the conference hall of the Ministry of Justice is one of the series of workshops organised by the government in its effort at repositioning the civil service for efficiency.
A statement by the Permanent Secretary, service welfare in the office of the Head of Service, Mr. Lambert Ekwueme, said the workshop, which has the theme, “Repositioning the Civil Service for the challenge of change” is part of a series of training programmes.
The statement further enjoined all civil servants nominated for the workshop by their Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to attend unfailingly.
