Afelokhai’s Return From Injury Excites Eguma
Rivers United Technical adviser, Stanley Eguma has stated that he is excited with the return of first choice goalkeeper, Theophilus Afelokhai to training ahead of their next trip to South Africa to face Bloemfontein Celtics in the caf confederation cup.
Afelokhai, who picked a knock and was not available for the doubleheader against Futuro Kings seems to be getting his fitness back in training and intensifying readiness ahead their next game.
The excited Eguma told newsmen that the former Enyimba goalie is already doing light training, hopefully the doctor will confirm his full fitness and ascertain his readiness for the clash.
“He has just started training at least doing some light training now, we hope that he should be okay for the upcoming game in South Africa.”
Rivers United will square it up against their next rivals, Bloemfontein Celtic next week Wednesday in South Africa.
