Mrs Ayade Lauds Health Commissioner
Wife of Cross River State Governor, Dr. (Mrs) Linda Ayade has lauded the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Inyang Asibong for her magnanimity in touching the lives of her people in various ways.
Dr. Ayade stated this during the 2019 New Year get together held recently in Calabar and organised by Dr. Inyang Asibong for the people of Calabar South Local Government.
She lauded the initiative of the Commissioner in organising such an event, adding that she has been celebrating with her people and putting smiles on their faces since she assumed office as Commissioner, which has endeared her to her people.
The wife of the Governor called on others to emulate the kind gesture and benevolence of the Commissioner by reaching out to their people, adding that, “we should be proud of what we have and the people God has given to us”, while enjoining women to celebrate themselves.
In their remarks, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Barr Rosemary Archibong and the member representing Calabar South, Akpabuyo and Bakassi in the House of Representatives, Hon. Essien Ayi also lauded the initiative of the Commissioner for Health in gathering her people together in order to celebrate them as well as felicitate with them.
They used the occasion to encourage all to come out enmasse during the forth-coming general elections and cast their votes for Senator (Prof) Ben Ayade.
