Wolves, Dolphins Get Tougher Cup Foes
Warri Wolves will battle
Ethiopia’s Dedebit SC and Dolphins take on Club Africain of Tunisia in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Wolves will host the first leg in the weekend of 13/14/15 March, while the second leg takes place in the weekend of 3/4/5 April in Ethiopia.
Wolves knocked out Racing Club de Bobo-Diolasou in the preliminary stage 4-0 on aggregate, winning first leg 1-0 away, 3-0 in the second leg in Warri, while Dedebit overcame Seychelles Cote d’Or on 5-2 aggregate.
Dedebit won the first leg in Seychelles 3-2 and won the return leg 2-0.
Nigeria’s second representative in the Confederation Cup Dolphins will battle Club Africain from Tunisia in the next round of the competition having gone past Leones Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea after a penalty shootout in Port Harcourt at the weekend.
