Kaduna Utd Players In Distress
Players of Nigeria premier
league club, Kaduna United have claimed they have not received a salary for the past 12 months.
It is a situation the players say has practically turned them into beggars.
“Things are not going on well with us at Kaduna United. We have not been paid salary for the past 12 months,” said one of the affected players
“Most of us can hardly feed ourselves and have to beg from friends and family.
“We are calling on the club management and state government to come to our aid. We are suffering here.”
The poor finances of the government-owned club have been worsened by the strained relationship between the Kaduna State sports commissioner and the state governor.
