Dolphins Target Fifth Federation Cup Title
Coach Stanley
Eguma has told newsmen that Dolphins are on track for a fifth Federation Cup triumph as they tackle lower league club Prime FC in Thursday’s semi-final in Abuja.
Dolphins outclassed Lobi Stars 4-2 to reach the last four of the annual cup competition and Eguma has now said they will be prepared for giant killers Prime as they aim to go all the way.
“We know that our opponents Prime are a very good side and good when it comes to penalty shootouts. We will prepare for anything in that game,” he told newsmen.
“But our target is to end the contest in regulation time, but if it got to the lottery of penalties, we will equally be prepared.
“Getting to the final and winning the trophy for a fifth time is very possible.”
Prime edged past fellow Nigeria national League side Gateway 5-4 on penalties after a goalless 90 minutes.
