Confab Sets Up 20 Committees
Following deliberations at the ongoing Nigeria National Conference at the Conference Management Secretariat in Abuja, 20 committees have been constituted to oversee specific issues.
The committees are: Committee On Devolution Of Power, Committee On Political Restructuring And Forms Of Government; Committee On National Security; Committee On Environment; Committee On Politics And Governance; Committee On Law, Judiciary, Human Rights And Legal Reform, Committee On Social Sector; Committee On Transportation, Committee On Science, Technology And Development, Committee On Agriculture, Committee On Civil Society, Labour And Sports, Committee On Public Service, Committee On Political Parties And Electoral Matters, Committee On Foreign Policy And Diaspora Matters, Committee On Immigration And Related Matters Committee On Public Finance And Revenue, Committee On Religion, Committee On Energy, Committee On Economy, Trade And Investment and Committee On Land Tenure And National Boundaries.
All the committees have 24 delegates as members except the committee on devolution of power and committee on political restructuring and forms of government which both have 28 members each and committee on religion with 19 members.
