Transfer Row Stalls Chibuzor’s Enyimba Switch
Ex-Enugu Rangers
defender Madu Chibuzor is yet to feature for Enyimba this season following a row over which club owns him.
Chibuzor last featured for Rangers after a short-lived stint in Turkey, but investigations have revealed he belongs to a non-league club in Ibadan, Active Soccer Academy.
The player himself has said he was on loan from Active Soccer Academy to Rangers.
But Rangers have claimed ownership of the central defender leading to a delay in the player’s transfer.
A top Enyimba official said they are hopeful they will clear Chibuzor from Active Soccer Academy this week.
The tough-tackling player, who has been called up to the Super Eagles training camp, has only been training with Enyimba since last year.
