Adagunodo was caught by the police for plying one of the roads the government had classified as restricted routes for motorcycles.
The Magistrate, Mr E. A. Balogun, who handed the judgment, said the court had no option than to sentence the erring motorcyclist since he had pleaded guilty.
The Tide source reports that the state government had published 475 routes which should not be plied by commercial motorcyclists under its Road Traffic Law.
Adagunodo, a resident of Ladega Street, Ikorodu, was tried for riding his motorcycle recklessly and plying a restricted route.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Cpl. Mary Ajiteru, had told the court that Adagunodo was arrested by policemen on patrol at Ita Elewa area of Ikorodu on January 7 at 7.30 p.m.
She said Adagunodo committed the offences with his motorcycle with registration no. LND 252 QC.
The offences, Ajiteru noted, contravened Section 305 of the Road Traffic Act, Laws of Lagos State.
