RSSDA Holds Bi-Annual Sports Event In PH
Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) is set to hold its 2013 bi-annual sports away day event in Port Harcourt on Friday.
A statement issued in Port Harcourt by the General Manager, Human Resources and Administration of the Agency, Tonye Sukubo said the event is part of the Health, Safety and Environment activities of the establishment to ensure employee work-life balance.
According to him, the exercise would involve a 6.4km road walk from the Isaac Boro Park to GRA Junction and back to Isaac Boro Park along Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway.
The statement further said that about 500 participants drawn from RSSDA, corporate bodies and other Ministries, Departments and Agencies such as Greater Port Harcourt Development Authority, RIMA among others are expected to be involved in the exercise.
It also disclosed that the Nigeria Police Force, FRSC, Medical team as well as TIMARIV would be engaged to offer services during the event inorder to ensure free flow of traffic, safety and security of participaants.
The Statement also appealed to sports loving people of Rivers State and residents of Port Harcourt to come out and watch the sporting exercise.
