The Tide Visits Late Manager’s Family
The management of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), Port Harcourt, has expressed shock over the death of a management staff of the corporation, Mr Austine Tolofari.
Mr Tolofari, who was the Production Manager of the corporation died on November 8, 2010.
Speaking during the condolence visit on behalf of the management of the corporation at the Mgbuoba residence of the late Tolofari, yesterday, the General Manager of the corporation, Mr Celestine Ogolo, said that the visit was to sympathise with the family on this moment of grief.
Mr Ogolo described the deceased as an important member of management whose contribution had helped advance the interest of the corporation.
He also stated that the management would ensure that all the benefits of their late colleague got to the family on time, and stressed the need for the death certificate to be made available on time to enable the corporation process his benefits.
The General Manager also said that the management would participate fully in the burial activities and announced contribution of N40,000 towards the purchase of the casket for the burial.
The team was received by the widow of the deceased, Mrs Miasigheni Tolofari.
