Kilsi United FC Commences Screening
Management of National Division IV Side Kilsi United says it has commenced screening of talented players for the 2010 soccer season.
This was made known, Thursday, by chairman of the club Leesi Gborogbosi, during an interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the screening session is restricted to players that are 18 years of age.
The screening exercise is zoned into four centres within the state the Birabi Memorial Grammar School (B.M.G.S) Bori, Akpor Grammar School Uzoba, Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt, and the Gokana centre Barako playground.
Meanwhile, Director of Football Kilsi United, Nebari Biegbara said players of the age of 18 are expected to report to the B.M.G.S. Bori.
Tidesports confirmed a record number of players turned-up for the screening at the B.M.G.S zone.
Chairman of the Kilsi United FC Mr Gborogbosi, stated that players selected from the exercise will form Kilsi Feeder team.
“Players discovered from this exercise will join the Kilsi junior,” he explained.
