NWFL : Rivers Angels Striker Sets 20 Goals Target
Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt striker, Motunrayo Ezekiel, has set a target of scoring 20 goals for her club in this new season of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
According to her, she hopes to achieve the target but cannot do it alone, hence, she solicited the support of her teammates, adding that her aim is to become the highest goals scorer of the NWFL this season.
Ezekiel said this in her post match interview with sports journalists on Wednesday shortly after Rivers Angels FC defeated Edo Queens 3-1 in the Match Day Two of the NWFL at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
She expressed joy after scoring a brace in the 3-1 victory, adding that her target is to score 20 goals this season.
“ I feel excited for scoring a brace today for my new club and my plan is to score more goals this season.
“ I cannot do it alone but with the support of my teammates and the coaching crew.
“ My aim is to become the highest goals scorer this season.
“ My target is to score 20 goals this season,” Ezekiel said.
