RSNC Seeks Closer Ties With NTA For Quality Services
The management of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC) is seeking closer ties with the Port Harcourt Network Centre of the Nigerian Television Authority with a view to improving quality of services to the society.
General Manager of the corporation, Chief Ernest Chinwo said this during a courtesy call on the management of the NTA Port Harcourt Zonal Centre yesterday.
Chinwo said the two- sister organisations have a lot to benefit by working together.
He said the managements of both the NTA and The Tide need to bridge the gap as they have a lot of things in common.
Chinwo said The Tide is not just the only surviving state-owned newspaper but also the authoritative voice of the Niger Delta as well as has extensive coverage of events across the country
According to him, the corporation is also into all aspects of printing.
He urged the NTA management to include The Tide Newspaper in its weekly newspaper review.
Responding, the Zonal Director, Port Harcourt Network Centre of the NTA, Mrs Bosede Adebayo, said the visit has opened a new vista of opportunity for the two- sister organisations.
Adebayo said that NTA PortHarcourt’s management is ready to work with its RSNC counterpart with a view to creating a forum for the younger generations to take seriously printable materials.
She also said the management is planning to use this year’s Children’s Day to project the culture of the people.
