Church Gets New Spiritual Leader
The Order of God of Abraham Ministry also known as “Abrahamism” has ordained Apostle General Simeon Ezenna Iwueke as its new primate (the ordination service took place at the church National Headquarters Abel Jumbo Street Port Harcourt.
The new primate who hails from Imo State succeeded late Dr Albert Magnus Uranta who died in 2018.
Preferring the ordination ceremony the founder of the Church of God Shalbat Mission, Chief Priest Francis Duru urged the new primate to follow the footstep of the founder of the church.
He also charged him to establish more branches of the religion in the country. According to the Chief Priest Francis Duru successive priests are those who overcome temptation through endurances.
He also called on members to work with the new primate to enable him succeed.
In his sermon, Apostle James Uranta said the order of God of Abraham Ministry has members will give their set an example as far as succession to priesthood was concern, adding that any religious organization without a succession plan is done.
James Uranta also said Abrahamism preaches unity, love and oneness of humanity adding that the founder late (Dr) Albert Magnus Uranta had done his best by giving all he has to serve God.
The first son of late Albert Uranta , Hon Henry Uranta said members will give their support to his father’s successor to enable him succeed.
Speaking with newsmen, the new primate His Grace Apostle General Simeon Ezenna Iwueke said more branches of the church will be established across the country.
He also said the church will not deviate from its doctrine of love and peace among humanity.
