‘Restoration Govt’ll Finish Strong In Bayelsa – Mrs Dickson
Wife of the Bayelsa State Governor, Mrs. Rachael Dickson, has said that the Bayelsa State Restoration Government has changed the landscape of the state and that it would definitely finish strong
Speaking at the Melchizedek Worship Centre in Toru-Orua, Sagbama Local Government Area of the state, Mrs Dickson noted that the achievements during its seven years in government cut across the constitutionally recognised eight local government areas of the state.
According to her, physical infrastructural development is witnessed in all nooks and crannies of the state, just as the people of the state are empowered to enjoy improved standard of living.
The Governor’s Wife averred that healthcare had improved with eight general hospitals, health centres and the Bayelsa Diagnostic Centre, which was a flagship project where all manner of medical checks done abroad could be carried out owing to the sophisticated machines purchased by the Restoration Government.
She pointed out that Education was not left out, especially the introduction of boarding schools and the Ijaw National Academy built and furnished with state of the art equipment to promote the quest for knowledge.
The governor’s wife posited that her husband’s administration also built the ecumenical worship centre and general infrastructure, particularly the Boro Town, amongst others.
