DELGA PDP Leadership Is United – Banigo
Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo says there is no rift in the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Degema Local Government Area, contrary to insinuations in some quarters.
The Deputy Governor stated this when the PDP Leader of the Local Government Area, Hon. Pleasant Braide led some leaders of the LGA to pay her an unscheduled visit at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Banigo said the leadership of Degema Local Government Area was united and indivisible, noting that the leaders were working as a team to ensure that the people are not left out of the development train of Governor Wike.
While thanking the State Chief Executive, Chief Nyesom Wike for appointing Alabo Boma Dappa as the new CTC Chairman of DELGA, she advised the chairman to emulate Governor Wike’s development strides and carry the people in the grassroots along.
Also speaking, the member representing Degema Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Farah Dagogo said they came to visit the Deputy Governor shortly after the screening of the CTC, Chairman a ad demonstration of the fact that she is the mother of the LGA and they are all working as a team for the interest of the local government area and the state at large.
Earlier, Hon. Pleasant Braide had informed the Deputy Governor that they were in her office to re assure her of their commitment and support to the ideals of the NEW Rivers Vision, stressing that come 2019, they would stand by the state government and herself.
