Coordinator Urges Students To Dev Interest In Golf
The Co-ordinator of a
grassroots Sports development Organisation in Nigeria, Olymp Africa, Uniport Centre, Nigeria, Dr. Chukwuemeka Agi has urged secondary schools in Nigeria particularly in Rivers State to choose golf as their major sports event.
He explained that OlympAfrica is poised to develop Sports in all African countries to enable the continent have abundant talents, saying that golf is owe sports to invest in.
Dr. Agi said this in an interview with Tidesports shortly after the organisation held golf and chess competition for secondary schools in the state.
The Co-ordinator further advised students to take good advantage of the opportunity the competition provided them.
“I urged you students to take golf as a career, because through golf and chess you can achieve your desires”, Dr. Agi said.
According to him, OlympAfrica has organised other sporting events like football athletics etc.
“You all are aware that if a child learns a particular thing in tender age, it would be very difficult for the child to depart from it when he or she grows older.
One thing you should know is that in any aspect of life there are challenges, but the must important thing is to overcome the challenges and forge ahead”, he stated.
