Popularly known as Oba Omega has revealed four principles that led to the success of his music career.
The circular dance hall singer who revealed this in an interview with The Tide said the first thing is the fear of the almighty God because this is the beginning of wisdom creative ability hardwork and faith. These four principles he said together to make him what he is today he said.
In 2011, he won the award of best Niger Delta artiste and in 2012 he became grand Lager beer Niger Delta Ambassador stressing that all these award is as a result of these four principles.
Furthermore, he explain the kind of music he plays as African contemporary music even though he started with highlife music, he added that the reasons why he dances a lot in his home video is because dancing makes people excited and equally make you more popularly and this is why artistes like Chris – brown and usher are more famous among their counterparts in the music industry.
The Krikata singer said another dance step is out by him which he called it soccer dance because life is a game of football.
In the same vein, the contemporary music star said the reason why some musicians attached other business to their music career is because music come and go and that no artiste will like to perform on stage forever that is why they engage themselves in other venture to make them stand when they are out of the industry.
Similarly, he said there are many challenges in the music industry, that the rate of pirary has scare sponsor, because they invest huge amount of money into the music career of an artiste and if the end of the day no outcome from the album because of enormous pirary.
He pleaded for the government to try to monitor this act through some agencies.
Also, he said another thing that will help Nigeria music industry is to bring in foreign investors that can import foreign instruments for better production.
Moreso, he drop his advice for the upcoming artistes to remain focused faithful and hardworking and the sky will not be the limit.
Conclusively he has promised to battle down with a life partner as he is looking forward for some one that will understand his music life and managed him very much.

They Booed, Threw Bottles At Me – Tems Recounts
R&B star, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has recounted the early-career challenges she faced, revealing that she was once booed out of the stage while performing at a school event.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen, the Crazy Tings crooner shared that she wasn’t only booed but was also harassed with plastic bottles.
“I remember one time I was going to perform at my school as an up-and-coming singer and I thought I was going to receiving a standing ovation.
“But I got booed. They even threw plastic bottles at me,” she recalled.
Tems explained that despite the embarrassing incident and other such rejections, she remained determined to pursue a career in music.
The Tide Entertainment reports that Tems admitted that some of the initial rejections she faced could be due to her conviction to stick to her originality instead of doing covers or familiar sounds like most of her peers.
The Grammy-winning singer said looking back now, she is glad that she didn’t compromise her style despite the initial pressures.

Primeboy Pleads For Mohbad’s Burial
A close associate of late singer Mohbad, Primeboy, has appealed for the artiste’s burial nearly three years after his death.
According to him, Mohbad’s body remains in the mortuary since September 12, 2023, pending burial arrangements.
The Tide Entertainment reports that in a statement Primeboy urged the family, public, and government to permit the burial, stating, “It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial.”
It would be recalled that Mohbad’s death sparked public outrage, protests, and investigations. Ongoing autopsy examinations, police inquiries, and legal proceedings have delayed burial arrangements amid family disagreements and public scrutiny.
