OPM General Overseer Bags NANS Award
The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS), has presented an Award of Excellence to the General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.
NANS National President, Mr. Dauda Mohammed, who made the presentation recently in Port Harcourt, said that the award was in recognition of the support of Apostle Chinyere to the educational development of Rivers State and the entire Nigeria.
Mr. Mohammed, who is a Muslim said that he was amazed at the level of investment which the OPM General Overseer has put into education, stressing that his visit to the state was to thank him for what he is doing for Nigerian students.
He said that the society will be a better place, if men of God will use their wealth to improve the condition of less privileged persons in the state.
The General Overseer Apostle Chuibuzor Chinyere, thanked the Association for the gesture, stressing that it will spure him to render more services to the society.
Meanwhile, the secretary of OPM women ministries, Mrs Dora Nkem, has described Apostle Chinyere as the Jesus of our day.
Speaking in an interview with newsmen, Mrs. Nkem said that the OPM General Overseer is setting an example for other men of God to follow.
She said that, Apostle Chinyere has used the resources of the church to improve the lives of the common people.
Mrs. Nkem said that other men of God need to emulate the OPM General Overseer by using resources at their disposed to assist the less privilege in the society.
