Law Students Demand Bursary From EMOLGA Boss
Indigenes of Emohua local government area (EMOLGA), Rivers State, in the Nigerian Law School, Yenagoa campus, Bayelsa State, have appealed to the chairman of EMOLGA, Hon. Allen Nma to assist in alleviating their financial problems through bursary payment.
The students in a letter to the Local Government Area chairman and signed by the Protem President, Mr Kingsley Wali and the Secretary, Mr Macdonald C. Dede (Jnr), made the appeal which was made available to The Tide.
The students noted that their present financial predicament was capable of affecting their academic performance in the school if not urgently addressed.
They also congratulated the chairman and his vice, Hon. Ndidi Erim on their victory at the last local government election in the state stressing that the victory was a divine reward for hard work and service to humanity.
The students, however, urged them to always discharge their duties with fear of God, commitment and honesty to justify the confidence reposed in them by the electorates in the area.
