ETF Hands Over Classroom Building To RSUST
As part of efforts to improve the standard of education in Rivers State, the Education Trust Fund (ETF), has handed over a two-storey classroom building to the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), Port Harcourt.
Speaking while commissioning the building, the ETF’s representative, Dr Tariah Tebe said the two-storey classroom building donated to RSUST would go a long way in enhancing productivity of the students and lecturers of the institution.
Dr Tebe expressed happiness over the partnership between RSUST nad ETF, leading to the erection of such structure in the institution.
According to him, ETF would continue to render educational assistance to improve the standard of education in the school.
“We are prepared to partner with any reputable institution to alleviate the education burden of the institutions in Nigeria,” he said.
In his response, the Vice Chancellor of the university Prof Barimene Fakae, expressed appreciation over the building and assured that “the institution will do every thing possible to ensure that the building is used for the purpose for which it was built.
“ETF has done credibly well by not only building the two storey classroom building but by also equipping the classrooms to a standard. This institution is taking a lead in education development,” he said.
Also speaking the Acting Dean, Faculty of Sciences, Dr Friday Sigalo thanked ETF for erecting such a wonderful building.
Dr Sigalo, however, commended the Vice Chancellor for his giant stride in the area of man power and education development and he prayed that God should give him the enablement to continuously run the affairs of the institution.
