Bank Donates To Orphanage
The Management of Maiduguri EcoBank on Sunday presented relief materials worth thousands of naira to the Fatima Ali Sheriff Children’s Home and Yateem Care Foundation in Maiduguri.
Items donated include bags of rice, semovita, milk, toiletries and cash.
The bank’s Branch Manager, Malam Mohammed Bishara, while presenting the materials said that the token gift was to complement government’s efforts in bringing up the motherless
children.
He said “the children, if properly taken care of, will be useful to the society and the nation.
“They will also grow up to become responsible citizens and contribute their quota to nation building in many ways.”
Responding, the matron of the home, Madam Ladi Musa, thanked the bank for the gesture.
Musa gave the assurance that the items would be judiciously ultilised.
