NDE Gets Nine New Directors
The Board and Management of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) on Monday in Abuja announced the appointment of nine new directors.
Mr Nnamdi Asomugha, Deputy-Director and Head of Information and Public Relations of the directorate, conveyed this in a statement made available to newsmen.
He said that two of the newly promoted directors were women, adding that the elevation followed the conduct of promotion by the directorate from August 23 to September 3, 2010.
Those promoted as directors were; Mr Udoh Nnamdi Dominic, Mr Mfam Sylvanus, Alhaji Aliyu Kuki, Ms Isichei Ononoju, Malam Ibrahim Abdulkarim, and Malam Bello Babayo.
Others included Alhaji Kadira Ibrahim, Mrs Awosemo Victoria and Mr Aye Jibrin.
Asomugha said that the Board, headed by the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Chukwuemeka Wogu, also announced the promotion of 34 deputy directors.
He said that 54 officers who were on Grade Level 14 were also elevated to the post of Assistant Directors.
“Promoted officers on GL 07-13 have varying effective dates of promotion depending on each officers previous date of last promotion, ‘’ Asomugha said.
