Ikuru Wins SCB Visa Card Promo
Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru was among the winners of the Standard Chartered Bank Visa Card Promo recently organised by the bank all over the country.
Presenting the prize of a Home Theater System to the Deputy Governor in his official residence in Port Harcourt, the team leader, Wealth Management of the bank, Mrs. Chika Okeke on behalf of the organisation congratulated him for being a lucky winner of the prize.
Receiving the prize, Engr. Ikuru thanked the management of Standard Chartered Bank for the award, saying that this was his first in life-time to win such a prize.
He expressed delight to the establishment and reassured his faith with the bank as its customer.
“I will reassure my faith in Standard Chartered Bank as the custodians of my funds and I will do more business with them because I have been a customer of the bank for a long time”, he stressed.
Meanwhile, Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru was among sympathizers that attended the funeral mass of late Mrs. Dorathy Ijeoma Amanfo at St. John’s Catholic Church, Awo-Omamma, Imo State.
Late Mrs. Dorathy Ijeoma Amanfo was the mother-in-law of former Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Kenneth Kobani.
In a homily, Rev. Father Damian Amanfo of the St. Andrew’s Parish, Ibele, Njeaba Local Government Area of Imo State described the late Mrs. Amanfo as a devout Christian who humbled herself to those who came in contact with her.
The man of God who said death was inevitable and no respecter of any person urged Christians to devote their lives to God while advising members of the deceased’s family to uphold her virtues.
