Cleric Urges Forgiveness For Repentant Militants
The Administrator, South-South region of the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Pastor Anthony Adeosun has urged communities in the Niger Delta to forgive and reabsorb all repentant militants in their midst.
Pastor Adeosun who said this in an interview with newsmen as part of activities marking the 10th year anniversary of the church also called for a programme to rehabilitate and reintegrate the repentant militants into their various communities.
While commending the federal government for the bold initiatives of granting amnesty for militants, the cleric also urged for the inclusion of village heads of the various communities in the process of consultation.
He mentioned some of the programmes initiated by ministries to improve the condition of youths. These involves, establishment of computer training, setting up of Zion Cooperative Societies.
Pastor Adeosun said that constant prayers have been held for the state and the Niger Delta while 32 plots of land have been acquired in Eleme Local Government for the establishment of a prayer mountain for the state.
According to him, the ministries has within the last ten years recorded tremendous progress in terms of growth, pointing out that the ministries presently has over 15,000 members worshipping at the church covering 30,000 members, while the branches have increased to 20 in the state.
