RSFA Tasks Adults On Regular Exercise
The secretary of Rivers State Football Association(RSFA), Ibigoni Benjamin-Akobo has advised adults 40 and above to frequently do exercise to keep fit.
Benjamin- Akobo said this on Saturday, in an exclusive interview with Tide sports, shortly after the opening match of the 2nd edition of Rivers State All Stars Football Competition, holding at Sharks Football Club Stadium, Moscow Road, in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the competition was basically to keep fit and curb restiveness, adding that,winning the trophy was not a priority of the competition.
“ I know that the idle mind is the devil’s workshop. This competition is basically to keep you fit and boost your health condition” He said.
He noted that regular exercise would build body system and also reduce heart related diseases.
The RSFA scribe used the forum to appeal to well meaning individuals, philanthropists and corporate organisations to sponsor the annual competition.
At the end of the opening games All Stars of Rumukurushi beat Excellent 2-0, while in the second match played, George FC won Dynamics FC 4-2.
