Amaechi Sympathises With Sharks Over Auto Accident
Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Governor of Rivers State has sympathised with the management and players of Sharks FC, over the auto accident they involved in on their way to play Plateau United of Jos, that left nine persons injured.
According to him, he was shocked when he got the news on Sunday night.
The governor who was represented by the former secretary to the state government, Hon. Magnus Abe, said government would pay all medical bills incurred for the incident, saying that the club will soon have a new car.
Hon. Abe expressed gratitude to God that no life was lost during the accident.
He advised the players to put the incident behind them and concentrate on the matches ahead to enable them win matches.
“I thanked God that no life was lost in the unto accident.
Please put what has happened behind you, forge ahead and concentrate to enable you win matches” he said.
