Convener Inaugurates Supreme Council For Sim In Emohua
A non-governmental organisation in Rivers State, the Supreme Council for Sim, has inaugurated its Emohua Local Government Chapter. It was inaugurated by the convener of the group, Pastor Fubara Joshua.
Pastor Joshua was asssisted to perform the ceremony by former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Samson Agbaru.
The convener charged the newly sworn in local government officials and stakeholders to work assiduously for the success of Governor Fubara in their respective localities.
He further described the body as the brainchild of the Governor with the aim of galvanising support for the success of the present administration in the state
He advised the elected Emohua Supreme Council for Sim officials and stakeholders to work as a team, do what ever their leaders ask them to do for the common objective of moving the group forward
Fubara ,the Convener Supreme Council for Sim said the administration of Governor Fubara has come to stay ,saying the Governor shall complete his eight years as others have done
He noted, Governor Fubara is the best thing that has happened to Rivers people as his leadership has touched lives.
“Our Governor is a silent achiever. He can do 100 km road without making noise about it. Rivers people are happy with the promotion of civil servants, paying their arrears, employment of Rivers people, landmark link road project, and other impactful on going projects across the state.
Rivers people are happy associating with a Governor who does not pull down your house because you disagreed with him. Rivers people are happy because their governor is friendly ,caring feels their pains. Our people can attest governor came with a clean heart. Let it be known that our governor has never betrayed anybody ,rather they are once who betrayed him. Our Governor can no longer allow anyone control him,” he said.
Earlier, Chief Essezi Rukani ,a stalwart of the Supreme Council for Sim said Governor Fubara deserves commendation for changing the narrative.
