CRSG Dissolves Health Tech College Management
The Cross River State Government has approved the dissolution of the management of College of Health Technology, Calabar with immediate effect.
The release conveying Governor Bassey Otu’s directives was signed by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Henry Egbe Ayuk, dated August 9, 2024.
“This is to convey the approval of His Excellency Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu to dissolve the Management of College of Health Technology, Calabar.
“The dissolution is in line with the extant laws, policies and guidelines governing the appointment and tenure of principal officers”, the release read in part.
It further directed all principal officers (Provost, Registrar, Bursar and Librarian) to hand over to the next most senior administrative officer(s) of the College.
“This dissolution order is with immediate effect”, it concluded.
