Otamiri also said that communication is central to education development ,noting that education managers lose sight of the prominent position communication occupies in the entire gamut of activities woven around educational management and administration in the country.
He made the assention while presenting his inaugural lecture titled “Communicating The Business of Educational Management;”Experimenting the Stakeholders Continuum Model” during the 23rd inaugural lecture series of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education held at the institution’s auditorium, over the weekend.
The Dean of Faculty of Business Studies described communication as a way that organisation members share meaning and understanding with another ,saying that communication is not effective and successful if there were no outcome and reaction from the receiver. Feedback and reaction are therefore essential to show that communication has taken place.

“The education system revolves around the interest and aspirations of a number of persons, groups and institutions who form the stakeholders in the education business. Our position is that if all stakeholders in education are properly connected by a well ~designed framework of communication ,the business of educational management in Nigeria will work and produce the desired results that will ultimately satisfy all involved,” he stated
The lecture x~rayed the various aspects of the concept of communication ,concept of school business management and educational management, pointing out the components and the various job requirements of school managers as well as the recognition of various stakeholders in business of managing schools in Nigeria.
