Bakana Honours Female Commissioner, 4 others
Bakana community in Degema Local Government Area will tomorrow hold a civic reception in honour of the Rivers State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. (Barr) Mrs Manuela George-Izunwa and four other illustrious citizens of the community.
The others are Hon. Eldred Billy Braide, Governor Amaechi’s Special Adviser on Conflict Resolution, Mr. Geoffrey Teneilabe, Senior Special Assistant to President Jonathan on Foreign Relations and Audience, Hon. (Mrs.) Vivien Kombo Braide, Senor Special Assistant to Governor Amaechi and Project Director, Rivers State University of Science and Technology and Professor Datonye Victor Dapper, Professor of Human Physiology and Dean, Faulty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, university of Port Harcourt.
The reception which is being held under the aegis of Bakana Community Development Association (BCDA), will take place at the community Civic Centre, at noon, and it is to appreciate the honourees for doing the community proud.
