Chinda Thanks Obio/Akpor PDP Delegates For Victory
The member representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Kingsley Chinda has expressed profound appreciation to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates for voting him to victory in the just concluded National Assembly primaries.
The party primaries were conducted in a peaceful, free and fair process in the local government area at the weekend.
Making his position known in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt, yesterday, Chinda said he was overwhelmed by the trust and confidence reposed in him by party faithful who invested their time and energy in giving a return ticket to Green Chambers of the National Assembly.
He said their voting for him meant that the people were proud of his performance and sterling records of service as a federal lawmaker.
Chinda promised not to disappoint the party and the people of Obio/Akpor in the discharge of his duties at the House of Representatives, if elected in 2023.
He reiterated that his “I Win, You Win” mantra would continue to be reflected in all his dealings with the people, saying that service to the people would continue to be the centre-piece of his leadership.
Chinda noted that he would continue to defend, protect and project the interest of Obio/Akpor people in the National Assembly, while at the same fighting for people of Rivers State.
