Divine Order Of Cherubim And Seraphim Gets New Spiritual Head
The Divine Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Nigeria and Overseas has consecrated a new Baba Aladura for the church.
He is Most Special Apostle Endure H. Fisei.
The consecration took place during the 74th Annual General Conference of the church at its headquarters at Aggrey Road, Port Harcourt.
The new Baby Aladura succeeded Most Rev. Dr E.k.Y Jack who died in April 2020.
The chairman of church committee of the General Headquarters of the Divine order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Nigeria and Overseas, Most Special Apostle Samuel Marshal said the consecration has opened a new door for members to sustain their struggle and belief.
According to him, “our beliefs and struggles include resisting the increasing influence of the devil at maintaining high spirituality in contemporary times”.
Also speaking, General Secretary of the Holy Order, Most Special Apostle Lawrence Lebasibor said the new Baba Aladura has the support of all members of the church.
He said Most Special Apostle Endure Fisei’s was appointment as head of the church was taken during the National Executive Council meeting of the order.
In his sermon, His Grace Rev (Dr) Stephen Adeoye charged the new Baba Aladura to rule the church with the wisdom of God.
He also warned against rebellion, stressing that the new Baba Aladura needs the support of members to take the church to greater heights.
In his address, the new Baba Aladura, Most Special Apostle Endure Fisei called on members to remain obedient to the will of God. He also urged them to abide by the terms of their marriage as set out by God Almighty, while members must be punctual and regular in all church activities.
