Former Perm Sec Emerges PHCCIMA President …Pledges To Partner RSG
Former Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications, Sir Mike Elechi, has expressed preparedness to transform Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture (PHCCIMA).
Elechi, who emerged President, during the organisation’s congress on Tuesday, at its corporate office in Port Harcourt, said his administration would create job opportunities in partnership with the Rivers State Government.
He said this shortly after he was sworn in as the newly elected president of the organisation, saying that he is poised to create the enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
According to him, he will ensure that business thrive and make the State a safe haven for investors.
“I am prepared to transform the organisation. I will partner with the state government to create job opportunities and the enabling environment for business to thrive” Elechi said.
The newly elected PHACCIMA President lauded the pragmatic leadership style of Governor Nyesom Wike, which he said has placed Rivers State above others
He stated that the untiring efforts of the Governor to transform the State was unprecedented, especially in the area of economic development.
“Honestly, I am elated over the milestonse recorded in the development of Rivers State by Governor Wike” he said.
