Keves Football Competition’s Sponsor Receives Souvenir
The Rivers State Football Association, (RSFA), has presented souvenir to the sponsor of Keves Football Competition, Chief Ikenna Okafor, following his role in sports development in the State.
Special Adviser to the state Governor on Real Madrid Football Academy, Barrister Christopher Green, made the presentation on behalf of RSFA, at the opening ceremony of Keves Football Competition, recently, at Sharks Football Stadium, in Port Harcourt.
Speaking to sports journalists after the presentation, Barrister Green lauded Chief Okafor, saying that the souvenir was given to him in appreciation of what he has been doing towards sports development in the state.
“RSFA presented a football to Chief Okafor as a souvenir to appreciate his commit-ment to sports develop-ment and promotion, giving the youths reason to take sports as a career” Barrister said.
According to him, words cannot be enough to express his appreciation over what Chief Okafor is doing to promote and develop sports in the state.
“As a patron of RSFA you have showed in lips and actions that you are indeed a man who has Rivers State at heart.
“What you have done will not only alleviate suffering, but again you have given capacity to our youth for them to take sports as their livelihood.
“Sir, I want to thank you and I also pray that the Almighty God will continue to bless you and your business so that where ever this funds were coming from, for which you are using to sponsor sports competition in the state to remove tears not only RSFA but the entire youth of Rivers State our God will replenish it in million fold,” he stated.
