Monarch Hails Peace, Unity In Community
The Paramount Ruler of Bue-Ughara Kpite in Tai Local Government Area, Chief John Agbadam has praised his people over the peaceful conduct during the celebration of Tai New Yam festival in Kpite, Tai, recently.
Speaking with newsmen recently, he showered praises on his people for ensuring adequate peace and security throughout the period for the festival.
Agbadam noted that the aim of the celebration was to thank the people for working hard for fruitful and bountiful harvest.
He thanked God for keeping them alive to see and witness another season of harvest, and also commended the people for the way they turned out in their large numbers to celebrate the festival.
“Kpite will continue to grow in peace and work towards creating a better and lively environment suitable for indigenes and non-indigenes, including investors for the betterment of Rivers State and Niger Delta”, the monarch said.
Also speaking, Mene Zim Tai, Elder Jr commended the good people of Kpite and Tai for ensuring peaceful conduct during the celebration.
He expressed gratitude to God for protecting the people throughout the year, and for ensuring bountiful harvest for the people.
