Secondus Accuses Ngeregbara Of Violence
The former Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has blamed a former Commissioner for Works in Rivers State, Engr. Sampson Ngeregbara of being behind the series of violence which characterised the rerun lections in Andoni.
Secondus who was also a former Deputy National Chairman of PDP, spoke to newsmen shortly after casting his vote at Unit one, Ward Five, Ikuru Town in Andoni Local Government Area, alleged that electoral meterials meant for Ward three, Agwut-Obolo and ward eight, Samanga were all carted away by suspected APC thugs.
Meanwhile, the elections in parts of Andoni were characterised by allegations of ballot boxes snatching.
In Ngo, headquarters of Andoni Local Government Area, materials meant for four units were snatched by suspected party thugs.
There was no election in Wards three and eight in Andoni as materials were diverted by suspected party supporters.
Also at Ward four, seven persons were allegedly shot by military men for attempting to snatch ballot boxes.
