‘Egi Clay Factory To Boost Economic Growth’
The Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Ipalibo Harry-Banigo, has sais the plan by Governor Nyesom Wike to site a clay manufacturing industry in Egiland in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the state is a visionary step to diversify the economic base of the state, positively engage youth and check youth restiveness in the area.
Banigo in a statement by her Press Secretary, Paul Damgbor, lauded the effort of the governor in initiating projects that would boost the internally generated revenue of the state and provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youth.
The Deputy Governor said the conception of the clay factory project will also boost development and enhance commercial activities not only in Egiland but the surrounding communities and solicited support of the local communities to enable the administration complete all the proposed projects and bequeath more dividends of democracy to the people.
