I’ll Deliver Ogu/Bolo To APC – Tende
The Caretaker Committee
Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Council, Hon. Mina Clever Tende has assured that he would deliver the local government to All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2015 general elections.
Hon. Clever Tende gave the assurance during a sensitization tour by members of APC Contact, Political/Voters Education and Mobilisation Committees, led by the Chairman of the Contact Committee and member representing Opobo/Andoni Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dakuku Peterside to the Local Government Area recently.
According to him, his appointment as CTC Chairman in the area had been giving some persons sleepless nights, adding that “the mass defection of some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members to the All Progressives Congress (APC) today is a clear manifestation of my efforts.”
He reiterated that his short stay in office would encourage members of the area to go into one trade or the other through empowerment programme and also promised to fill all pot-holes leading to the local government headquarters in Ogu.
Earlier, the leader of the team and Chairman of the state Contact Committee of APC, Hon. Dakuku Peterside expressed delight that Ogu/Bolo LGA, a natural habitat of APC could boost of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi’s developmental projects such as road networks, bridge, schools, health centers among others, and enjoined the people to reciprocate by voting APC come 2015 elections.
Hon. Peterside tasked all members of the party to redouble their efforts and woo more members into the party, stressing that they should reach out to everybody to build a solid and formidable party.
He assured that come 2015, APC would win in Rivers State and win very well as APC had sowed good seeds and would surely reap or harvest what it had planted, and enjoined all to be more dedicated, think of how to move the party forward, be sincere to each other and carry all members along.
In his remarks, the leader of the party in Ogu/Bolo, High Chief Jonah Tamuno thanked the delegation for their enlightenment campaign and assured that Ogu/Bolo is for APC, and the party would win the forthcoming elections convincingly.
Other speakers at the occasion include, the Chairman of Political/Voters education Committee, Hon. Victoria Nyeche, the Chairman, Mobilization Committee, Hon. Chidiebere Okwuwolu, the Chairman of the Party in Ogu/Bolo LGA. Mr. Israel Iboms and the Secretary of the party in Ogu.Bolo, Hon. Anidikima Alabo among others.
