Group To celebrate Ogbakor Ikwerre 42nd Anniversary
The OPA branch of
Ogbakor Ikwerre cultural organisation worldwide has lined up some activities to commemorate its 42nd anniversary.
A statement signed by the secretary of the branch M.O Agbirigba which was made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt indicates that a lecture entitled: Minority Fears and Nigerian Federalism to be presented by Dr. Otive Igbuzor will hold on Friday, November 7, 2014 while Saturday November 8, 2014 is billed for the launching of a N250,000,000 OPA secretariat fund as well as singing and wrestling competition.
The programme will be rounded-off on Sunday with a thanksgiving service.
The statement further indicates that all the programmes will hold at the Rivers State College of Arts and Science, Rumuola, Port Harcourt.
It urged the general public to attend.
