A clergy man in Abia
State, Bishop Mike Onuoha, has said that the end of the Boko Haram activities in Nigeria is in sight.
Bishop Onuoha who is the General Overseer of St. Paul’s United Spiritual Church of Christ, Umuekpe in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State told The Tide in an interview during the church’s Holy Ghost convention that God had heard the cries of the people of Nigeria and would soon bring the crisis to an end.
The clergy man who also linked the crisis to the Biblical signs of end time however said that all hands must be on deck through prayers to liberate the country from the hands of terrorists.
He also urged for support to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, stressing that the problems of Nigeria cannot be solved by the President alone.
According to him, the various happenings in the country indicated that rapture was at hand.
“It would soon end because their innocent souls and the bloods are speaking for the peace of Nigeria.
The clergyman also urged Nigerians to talk positively about Nigeria, stressing that since 1960, a lot of positive things had happened in this country.
Bishop Onuoha further said that, the convention which had the theme: “Moving from a Height of Glory to Another Height of Glory”, held simultaneously at the various branches across Nigeria was targeted at winning more souls for Christ and described investment in souls winning as the best.
He also told the congregation to confess their sins and accept Christ and urged them to surrender all their problems to God.
According to him, “whatever happens, give thanks to God as everything has a purpose.”
