Fidelity Bank Gives Out N127m In Promo
A total of N127m was
won by 31 customers at the second draw of the Fidelity Bank Plc’ Save 4 Scholarship’ Promo held in Lagos.
the draw was presided over by the Executive Director Lagos and South West, Fidelity Bank Mr Ik Mbagwu. At the end of the event, Ruth Oyebanjo, a customer from the Abuja branch emerged the star prize winner of N2million.
An elated Oyebanjo could not contain her joy when the good news was broken to her by the Promo Committee chairman Mr Emeka Obiagwu.
She thanked the bank for taking the initiative to, not only invest in the education sector but also encourage savings culture in the country.
In all, three customers won N1 million. They were Job Peter, Israel, Adewale Abiodun Thomas while. Also seven customers of the bank went home with N500,000 in addition to 20 others that won N210,000 each. There were also lots of consolation prizes.
Speaking on the sideline of the event, Mr Mbagwu said the promo is real, adding that the presence of the regulators was to give credibility to the process.
He urged Nigerians to imbibe saving culture. “It is tough economy and so when you talk to people about saving, you have to convince them that there is a good reason for them to save.”
“There is no economy in the world that has grown without saving. It is a form of investment and a key plank for growth in any economy,” he stated.
