NDDC Accuses Oil Firms Of Sabotage
The Advisory Council of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has accused oil companies of sabotaging efforts to empower the commission to perform its statutory duties.
Rising from a late night meeting in Asaba, the Delta State capital, yesterday morning, the council said the oil majors have not been remitting their share of the funding obligations to NDDC.
The NDDC advisory council is made up of the governors of the nine oil producing states, the chairman of the board of NDDC and the managing director of the commission.
