As the nation’s tertiary institutions prepare for a new academic session, students are in last minute preparations for their post-University and Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (Post-UTME).
Universities have called on prospective candidates to pay the necessary fees and proceed to finalise their applications online.
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) 2014 Post-UTME examination will take place on Friday, 1 August and Saturday, 2 August, 2014.

One of the prospective students at the Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State, told newsmen that their screening test will hold today at the institution’s Ibadan Campus.
Sunday Olaniyi, who stated that he has been preparing hard for the examination noted that, “I hope the examination is not as difficult as it is being portrayed everywhere.
“Tension is rising here but isn’t that what writing such an examination is all about?”
Meanwhile, the exercise has been in progress at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Yaba, Lagos since Tuesday.
The screening test, sources disclosed, will not end until the end of this week as the students hailed the conduct of the examination.
“We didn’t spend more than thirty minutes before we left the examination hall. Their setting in UNILAG was almost perfect and I hope the results will suggest the same,” Olasode Oshi told our correspondent.
